Most people would think that FIT and PREGNANCY can't possibly be put in the same sentence together.
But my friend, they can!
You CAN be a super fit prego. And if you are, you will not only feel so much better, but you will also enjoy your pregnancy so much more.
Having worked with pregnant women for so long, I hear it all.
So many pregnant women hate being pregnant because they feel huge, lethargic, uncomfortable, self-conscious, not sexy............ and it goes on and on.
But the reality is that these women are the ones that use pregnancy as an excuse to eat, eat and eat and also to be inactive.
I don't know why, because this should be the healthiest time of our lives. We have our baby inside us and we should want to create the best and healthiest environment possible for the baby to flourish in. It should be a time to focus on eating healthy and staying active. Because not only will it be good for the baby (check this out).......
But there are also so many benefits for us. Here are just a few.
If you are not motivated and inspired to eat healthy and stay active after that list of benefits, you are crazy LOL.
But seriously speaking, you will benefit so much from exercising during pregnancy.
I did my Fit Mom-To-Be Workouts during both my pregnancies and I only gained 20 lbs on each and lost all the weight within the first 3 weeks. And I felt great...... Well, except for the 4 months I was on mild bed rest during my second pregnancy, with Placenta Previa. And then there was the fractured big toe and 6 months pregnant on crutches. But I still managed to eat super healthy during those hard months and managed my weight gain. So amidst the obstacles I felt pretty darn good.

And its not just me because I understand thats what I do for living. But I have so many pregos all over the world that do my Fit Mom-To-Be Workouts and get amazing results. Here are some pregnancy exercises that you can try at home. Weight training is one of the best types of exercises you can do during pregnancy. It keeps you strong, healthy, energized. Its just awesome. And you can go to a gym and you can also do them at home. Thats one of the things my pregos like the most of about my Fit Mom-To-Be Workouts, they can do them from home or at the gym.
A1. Dumbbell Plie Squat
A3. Stability Ball Hip Extensions
A4. Dumbbell High Rows
A5. Stationary Lunges
A6. Upright Rows
I hope you will try this. You don't need to exercise for long hours, not even every single day. If you just workout 3 days a week, you will see great results. And if you make healthy choices every time you eat, you will be a super fit and healthy prego. You don't have to "diet". But you don't have to eat "junk" either, just because you are pregnant. Its not good for your baby anyways.
So make healthy choices, there are tons of them. You can eat delicious foods that are still healthy. There are tons of yummy and healthy recipes on my website so make sure to check them out in the NUTRITION tab.
