I haven't gotten sick of creating yummy protein shake recipes. What I love about it is that I always have all the ingredients on hand to create them. All you need is your favorite fruits and buy them frozen and keep them in your freeze all the time. Here are a few more great ingredients to keep in your kitchen at all times in order to make protein shakes and smoothies.:
- Almond Milk
- Coconut Milk or Creamer
- Protein Powder
- Frozen Fruit
- Chia, Hemp Seeds
- Walnuts, Almonds, Cashews.
- Nut Butters
- Freeze Dried Fruit
- Veggies (leafy greens especially)
- Extracts (vanilla, maple, coconut)
- Shredded coconut

I love being able to enjoy eating healthy. Because if you can't enjoy what you are eating, its really hard to stay on track and if you aren't consistent with eating healthy its incredibly hard to see real changes.

Strawberry-Almond Bliss Protein Shake
1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup oats( I use Bobs Red Mill Gluten-Free)
1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (I use Prograde) its good quality for the price
1 cup almond milk
1/2 tbsp almond butter
Place all ingredients in the blender and enjoy cold.
There are a few things you can add to your protein smoothies to make them healthier and more fat burning.
1. Greens (helps reduce inflammation so that you can burn fat more effectively)
2. Glutamine (helps reduce inflammation also so aids in burning fat more effectively, good for immune function and muscle recovery).
