Set Your Goal NOW, Get Ripped This Year, Here is HOW

This is the time of the year that everyone starts saying "I'm going to make a change now", "I'm going to lose weight", "I'm starting a diet", "I'm going to start exercising consistently", etc. And that's great if that is you! And I'm proud of you, but don't make the mistake that most people do. 

If you don't set a specific goal the chances are you will not get great results. So take the time now, take 5-10 minutes and set a very specific goal and make a specific plan of how you will achieve it. If you do this you will have some accountability and that will help you stay on track and remain motivated

Here is an example of a specific goal: I will lose 15 lbs of fat, get into a size 4 jeans, get into the bikini I wore 10 years ago, I will eat clean for 3 months and inwill start cookingat least 3 times per week and I will do that by March 30, 2012. 

Next step, make a plan. Here is an example: I will weight train 3 times per week on Monday,Wednesday's and Fridays, and I will do cardio 2 times per week on Tuesdays and Thursday's. I will also make an appointment with a fitness professional to take my measurements and give me some nutritional coaching. And I will invest in a healthy recipe book to help me make healthy and tasty meals. 

Listen, my friend, most of the time we fail to reach our goals because we get busy and life happens and then the first thing to give is our health, our body, our workouts and our personal goals

 I know, your a mom, you work, you have a house to care for and a husband to take care of etc but don't sacrifice your body, your health and your sanity. Because what will happen later on in your life is that you will have anger, frustration and resentment when you realize you spent your entire life giving to everyone else and you never gave to yourself! 

 I get it now that I'm a mom. I think that when you become a mom, you become selfless, it's now about doing for everyone else, your children, your spouse, your family, your home, etc. But the reality is that if you don't give yourself some YOU time, you won't be the best YOU that you can be, and the whole fam will suffer, either now or later. 

So don't feel bad about giving yourself some time for working out, reading, praying, meditating, retail therapy, or whatever you need to keep yourself healthy, happy, and full of energy and passion for life! 

My hope for you this year is that you will set your goals now, make your plan, stick to it and achieve it! It's so worth it! I promise!
